    Cards

    Casino game is played with a deck of 52 cards. The deck has four suits called spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs. Each suite has thirteen cards, which are listed below in descending order.

    Royal Flush

    This hand consists of the highest-ranked cards, which belong to the same suit and are arranged in sequence. The only hand in this type is A, K, Q, J, 10.

    Straight Flush

    In this type of hand, the cards are arranged in sequence and they belong to the same suit. An example can be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 of spades. The royal flush is a kind of straight flush.

    Four of a kind

    In this type of hand, four cards are to be of the same rank and the fifth card can be of any rank. The fifth card is known as a kicker card.

    Full House

    In this type of hand, three cards are of the same rank and the other two cards are of different rank but the rank should be the same. An example can A, A, A, K, K.

    Flush

    In this type of hand, all the five cards must belong to the same suit but the sequence is not required.

    Straight

    In this type of hand, cards must be in sequence but they can belong to a different suit.

    Three of a kind

    In this type of hand, three cards must be of the same rank and the other two cards of different ranks. The other two cards need not be of the same rank.

    Two Pairs

    This hand consists of five cards out of which the rank of two cards should be the same and the rank of other cards also be the same but different from the first pair. The fifth card can be of any rank. An example can be 2, 2, 3, 3, 4.

    Pair

    In this type of hand, two cards should be of the same rank and the other three cards should be of any rank.

    High Card

    Here the ranks of the cards are different and the winner is decided based on the best possible high card.

    Wrapping up

    These are the types of hands that players must be familiar with so that they can win the game easily. Some of these hands are difficult to make while some are very weak and rarely help in winning the game.
